I think informing them regarding the medical of your baby and your current status won't hurt your application , this is my opinion about it, the decision is up to you .

hi markerick, hope and pray that you will receive positive response from ADVO, i'm planning to send an email to them too but, i will wait for a couple of weeks before sending email.

hi sset12, again i read the MR covering letter that we received from ADVO saying that LVO must send them the result of MR in 4 weeks time. In my case, today it's the 50th day and no changes in ecas at all. Anyway, i'll just wait when is it going to be reflected, I have read some postings here that the "medical received" phrase reflected on their ecas after 2-4 months and after 2-4 days PPR.

Huh, really waiting is hard but, with God's grace we have to continue the fight. God bless us all. 8)

actually,in order to divert my attention and to keep away for a while from waiting of PPR, i have applied for a US tourist visa and I have already a scheduled interview on Sep 23, wish me luck, I hope it will be approved before my PPR ... ;D ;D God bless us all!

I'm also planning to get US visa for us, the main reason is when you fly from riyadh to new york via saudia airlines and new york to winnipeg via canada air the airfare is 50% less but, the problem is they need transit visa in the US evethough you're not getting out of the immigration... ;D ;D what do you think? ;D

yes, it's one of the reasons why I preferred to have the US visa too, coz the airfare is cheaper with connecting flights via US. If you still have more time, you can still apply once you received your Canadian visa ;D ;D ;D.

that's why you need transit visa to be able to step down in US territory, from then to canada, only if you want to avail low airfares ;D ;D

Hi Markerick,

I just want to ask if how many months did you wait from the submission of additional docs of your newly born child to Medical request (of ur baby).

I have the same case where I submitted the addtl docs for my new born baby on 21 May, 2012 but there is no MR yet till this moment. FYI all my family had already finished our medical exams aside from the new born.

Medical test done Aug 2. forwarded to CEM Aug. 13.

Thanks Erick, I hope that my son's MR will come in the soonest possible time as my medical will expire on last week of Nov.

I suggest send ADVO follow-up for your sons MR.

My Medical test exprires on 7-Dec-12. they send me the PPR last 5-April but due to change of family composition, they requested addiotional docs for my baby and required medical.

Did you received any PPR before?
