Auie09, you have the same case like SKING, his nominated VO is new delhi but his application file was transferred from LVO to ADVO, based on that, i guess they are transferring the files to the applicant's current country of residence.
Ya You are right as they consider our country of residence rather than the country of Birth.
and it may happen that if any one visa is only for the one year remaining and if he is applying for the Visa may embassy will process as there country of birth rather than country of residence .

that is the only additional docs they requested from me... i think the rest are just part of their template/ automated email sent to the applicants.
Ya this is automated generated Email . so do not take it in consideration until and unless it required in your case . in mine case too they asked me for the Mine Indian PCC , before 10 days but as i was working for the PCC i was unable to post this email..
Thanking You , God bless to all Be Positive----> for the Good News

hi auie09, is your husband in saudi arabia? if he's still in saudi arabia he needs a letter from canadian embassy requesting for a police clearance and he will go to DFA and let it be stamped and aftetr that he will proceed to police station wherein police clearance applications are being processed... it takes only 5 minutes to finish it and he will come back after two days to get it.... also, 2 passport size pictures are needed... once police clearance is released he will go to an authorized translation office to translate it from arabic to english... hope it helps. :)

Additionally, if your husband is no longer working in saudi arabia, requesting police clearnace will take 3 months... hoping the process today will not be the same..

Hi Sset12, that's good news congrats, now it is moving. So they asked you for the original Advisory on Marriages, what it is all about? since it is different from marriage certificate? do you have any idea about this? maybe they will ask me the same requirements. Thanks and God Bless Always.

hi edwin,
IMOO, based on what I have read from other threads, AOM or Certificate of Advisory on Marriages is the counterpart/opposite of the CENOMAR(certificate of no marriage-for single). This is a certificate that proves you are legally married to your wife/husband, it is a sort of confirmation letter that you are married and your MC is valid/registered as per the NSO records. this is just my understanding about it... I guess you can authorize someone from your family to obtain the copy from NSO on your behalf.

Thanks Sset12, I guess it is better for me to prepare this requirement also, so that if they will ask me the same the requirement it is ready. This is really good tips for me, thanks again Sset12 and hope to receive your MR at the earliest time.

Hi auie, If your husband is still in saudi arabia, he can get that easily as ADG described it otherwise there is no way to get it. Couple of my friends who left saudi arabia faced the same problem. CIC asked them for the saudi pcc but they could not succeed in getting PCC. However after showing to cic proof of his communications with saudi authorities and their replies, cic waived off the PCC requirement from saudi arabia.

HOPING THAT MR IS ON THE WAY THROUGH SNAIL MAIL... COULD I ASSUME? ??? ::) GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!! ;)
