home country or from here is ok? Ill be flying to canada from Philippines ..
2. Airline - do u have idea on the cheapest airline from Philippines to Vancouver (October or Nov flight)
I already checked online, just want to know maybe you have other options.

hi achico, as far as the funds are concerned, I think you have to declare it at the time of arrival and that is the best time to show all your assets as it will be tax free otherwise later once you get your PR, whatever is declared will be taxed. Aslo since you need the funds, best options is to take a bank draft with you, that is the safest.
July is the bad time for travelling because its high season and ticket prices are sky rocketing this year. I checked from Dammam to Toronto return during July/August is about AED/SAR 7000 and if you take one way that is 80% of the full fair. If you find Turkish airway tickets, they are the lowest in that season.
