Thanks IMMROX for this info... just read it from LVO site saying:
Average processing times:
Permanent Residence:

- Provincial Nominee, Quebec, Skilled Workers with Arrange Employment: 6 MONTHS

hi sset12, what do you think? 8)
hi adg256, here's a re-post regarding my comments on this.
According to CIC-London's website, their average processing time for PNP is only 6 months, now the real concern is, did the ADVO send our files to London upon receipt from CIO? or how long it takes before they send it to London?. Based on my observation(from the trend of our forummates), it seems that they(ADVO) send it to London office by batch so even if they receive our file in January, it could be still sitting in their office waiting to complete the required number of application files for one batch prior to sending it to LVO. So maybe it's one of the reasons of further delays, this is just my assumption and i hope it's not the case ::)

Anyway, I don't want to worry that much, let's just keep on praying and cross our fingers on it. Remember...God is good all the time, and I believe he will give the best for us on his perfect time! :)

Hi medoo, I hope and am sure you will get your AOR soon. As you are aware each individual case is different so is the time required for the initial processing. I guess that you get the AOR only when they make sure your documents are complete....

best of luck..for all here..be optemistic and think positive.

sset, I agree to your point but if you visit ADVO website today, you will find that they have made changes and have removed the information about PNP processing times, making it very clear that they are no more the processing office for PNP and economic class applicants. CIO will send all the applications received from GCC countries to LVO for processing... :D

Hi immrox,

i hope so my bro thanx for your opinion

have a nice day

That's very true IMMROX, just opened ADVO site and found out that processing time for PNP is not included on their listing anymore... therefore, i have to conclude that CIO will send our applications directly to LVO.

Note that according to LVO site, it takes 24 weeks before sending AOR after receipt of the complete application.

All the best. :)

adg256, Here is the information from their site.

For all permanent resident applications (except Family Class, Provincial Nominees, Arranged Employment and Quebec applications), a letter of Acknowledgement of Receipt is sent to the applicant within 24 weeks from the date this office receives the completed application. The Acknowledgement provides details of processing times. Please read it carefully.

please see the text in brackets that 24 months time is not for provincial Nominess etc. And we have obsereved from the post of sset12 that it is taking about 3 to 5 months to get the AOR based on the completeness of the application kit and documents etc.

regards

adg256 & immrox,
wow, that could be a good news ;) thank you guys for your inputs!!!
this is something to celebrate! ;)

Dear Sir,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry.

Please allow time for processing. Once an application is received, it is being queued for file creation. Once a file has been created a file number will be assigned to you. You will be informed about your file number by regular mail in due course. If you need to communicate with our office, please indicate this file number which will appear on future correspondence from our office.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

;D if that's the case, we really don't know when are we going to receive AOR, so it will be WAIT..WAIT & WAIT.. 8) :) :'(

Hi immrox,

thanx for your effort it 's become very clear now

Let's hope to hearing good news soooon guys

I guess that it all depends upon your application. If you have included all forms and documents as required, than i dont see any reason for the delay. But keep in mind nominal prossessing time of currently 10 to 20 weeks as I observed from the forum member records here.
