Happy Weekend!!

Hello Abu Dhabi Team,

It's a brand new day/week! ;) I wish everyone will have a good news within this week... also, please allow me to share this prayer with you :).

Gracious God, it's so hard to wait. To wait for new things to happen in our life. To wait for you to answer our prayers. To wait for the open doors that may lead us into a new way of being. During the time of waiting, it seems that all we can think of is having what it is we are waiting for. A part of us knows that you want our best, and that your time is not our time, but Lord, it is still so hard to wait. Deepen our trust, O Lord, during the times when our heart longs for what can only come in the fullness of time. Give us a calm assurance that your will for us is grander than anything we could ever imagine. Still our mind and heart in your love so that we are mindful of the grace you are draping around us every single day, every single moment. We ask this for the sake of your love. Dear God, please grant us your blessings and shower us the much awaited AOR, MR and PPR from AD VO and touch the hearts of each visa officer in charge, to expedite the processing of our PRV application. :)

I think they will do same as they did with our AOR’s, they sent all AOR's in one month for all the applicants and now they will send all PPR together.

Lets Pray and God will do much better for all of us.

yeah, seems like it ;)...hopefully this coming March we will be flooded with AOR/MR and PPR
:D yehey!!!

Hi dear friends can we do our Medical test before MR??

Hi Abu dhabi team,

We will have the medical test today. Hope everything will be ok.
In case the medical is ok, next will be the PPR.
My passport is expiring by March 2013. Should i renew it now as we
planned to travel in October and that makes the passport validity
less than 6months. I was advised by some that I cannot have the visa
stamped in the old passport and used the new passport for landing.
It should be stamped in the passport and should not be less than
6months upon entry in Canada. Any insights about this case? Thank
you.

IMOO, it would be much worry free if you will renew your passport prior to PPR so your entry Visa will be stamped to the new passport :)

Goodluck on your medical test! Kindly keep us posted!

Thanks Sset12,

If the passport will be released after the deadline for PPR, do you
think they consider to extend to submit the PPR as it takes 45 to 60
-days to release passports.

I will keep you posted about our medical!!

Oh yeah, that's another thing to consider :-X sad to say Phil consulate has no rush renewal of passport... let's wait for other's opinion about this...
Btw, have you tried to call the consulate and ask about the passport validity extension? not sure how it works and the procedure...maybe you can try to call the consulate and ask if that will also do.

Much better to renew the passport at earliest time... pwede namang gawin yun kahit ang expiration pa ng passport mo ay next year pa... Regards.

hi sset12, February is almost over and March is already approaching... hope there will be good news for us in the next few days.. We will be travelling to the Philippines this coming April until May for annual vacation and expecting to receive AOR before that... cheers! :) :D ;D

me too, I need some vacation but :-\ I still hold it until I have my PR Visa, I am planning to go home before landing to Canada (to save some money too)

that's very true... hard to wait ::) but we have to be patient and definitely PR visa will come soon ;D... it's also hard to dispose properties in the Philippines... so its time for me to look for buyers and if agreed i will sell some.. just to have enough funds that can sustain us for a year once landed... i've been browsing for an apartment in winnipeg and prices are too high from 900-1200 per month for 2 bedrooms :o... indeed we need more cash.. he..he...he.. God bless and have a nice day.

Hi Alexa ,
thats for sure for having VISA stamp , passport validity should be more than 6 months !! most probably the expiration of the PR visa is also 1 year from the date of the medical examination , it means if you go through medical today than you have probably 4.5 months only , by looking 40 to 45 days , release time also of your passport.

1. incase if you dont renew your passport now , i think they will probably ask you to renew at the time of submit.

2. if you renew now , then may be you have to inform CIC Abu dhabi about this renewal , because you already mention in IMM5549 , that you hold how many passports previously and currently. i am not too much sure .

we need more suggestions !!!
