seems our applications have been sent directly to LVO from CIO... if my papers is already in transit, it means that LVO has already reviewed my papers before sending it to ADVO.... but, why is it the LVO didn't send AOR from their side.... any idea? cheers.

Wow, that's sounds positive for me, at least we know now that the CIO directly sent the file to London VO and that should expedite the process. Coz I was thinking before that they might have sent the file to ADVO then ADVO will consolidate all application here then forward it to LVO for further processing.
If the ADVO said "application is still in transit from London to Abu Dhabi" it probably means that they (ADVO) will contact you (AOR) upon receipt of the file from LVO. I guess you will receive the AOR within few days after receipt from London. OMG, I feel so excited about it ;D ;D

my assumption on this, is because we have already received a permanent file number from CIO(therefore no need for further completeness check of the file) but it could be just a matter of formality in keeping the records and move to further processing steps such as background investigation/security check....
Since ADVO is our nominated VO and not London, it is deem that ADVO will do all communications to applicants. I'm not so sure ;)

yes sset you are very right about this. ADVO is now only a communication Hub for perviously submitted applications. New PNP applications from GCC are now processed in london. By the way can anyone tell me that if someone has opted for email communications, will he get his MR also over email or by normal post?

I think they send the MR by normal post coz they will send you some forms :)

Hi guys,

Still no ppr. Still waiting.

Congrats to all who have received their visas.

Hope we are next in line.

Hi Team,

Thanks God for everything ;) :), at least now I know what is going on with my application.
I just received a letter via snail mail from London VO.

Sadly, it took them more than 60 days (from AOR-CIO date) to determine that our file must be transferred to and processed by ADVO. Now I will still have to wait for another eight weeks to receive an AOR from ADVO. I’m still very grateful though, at least I have something to look forward to and fully aware of the current situation.

Good luck to all of us. Keep the faith!

Here's the content of the letter.

Dear Applicant,

We have determined that your application for permanent residence should be processed at the visa office in Abu Dhabi. We are in the process of transferring your file to Abu Dhabi. It will take at least eight weeks for the transfer to be completed. You will be notified by the visa office in Abu Dhabi when your file has been received and you will be provided with a new file reference number.
You should send all future correspondence for the visa office in Abu Dhabi as no paper file record will be kept at the office in London. Please wait for at least eight weeks before contacting the receiving visa office to allow time for your file to arrive there. In the event that you need to inform the office in Abu Dhabi of your current mailing address, you should advise that office in writing that your file is in the process of being transferred and provide the full names, dates of birth and nationality of each person included in your application.
Sincerely,
High Commission of Canada

Hi SSET,

Thanks God that you have this information. It is really hight of bureaucratic mess in cic canada. Anyway things are a bit clear now for us that ADVO will handel our cases. At the same time I wonder what is the faith of new applicants? FIRST CIO.....> LVO.....>ADVO......??????

Enjoy the cloudy weather over the weekend
