Just a tip (and I don't if this will work with you guys):

a. Count 5/6 months after application was received in your ecas, your medical request will come.
b. When your address disappeared, your applicationi is being attended to and when it reappeared, expect a letter from the embassy
after a week or 2 (depends on your location), it could be the MR.

c. PPR usually comes in less than a month after your MR was received by the office.

d. When PPR is received, use ARAMEX, to keep track of your passports.

e. Lots of prayers...it surely works!

Hi Issah-- It was my husband (principal applicant) who first submitted his medical last 10/02. All our Visa expiry is on Oct 02, 2012, though they received our medicals (dependents) last 11/26 of this year. Thanks!

Are you a provincial nominee applicant? If so, your NBI clearance must be submitted together with your application and Letter of Approval forwarded to cic Abu Dhabi.

Yes, I am a provincial nominee applicant but I did not include the NBI because its not in the checklist. I only submitted the Police clearance...When they emailed me for pending requirements they didn't ask for NBI..Shall I send it now even if they are not asking for it?

I got the MR by post. I think all MR is being sent by POST only because it has some forms that you need to fill out.
