PNP PROCESS TIME IN ABU DHABI OFFICE

Hi everyone,

Congrats and goodluck to those who have received their AOR. Ive also submitted my docs last Aug and awaiting for AOR. Since there was a change of procedure with issuance of NBI clearances last July, i was not able to submit it but only the police clearance from UAE. Any idea how to send it now? Im afraid that it will get lost if sent separately since I have no file number yet from embassy or AOR? Any advice please. . .

Regarding your NBI, you should wait for your AOR, and they will inform you if they required anything additional for your application.

they need originals with signature so better to send it via courier.
did u used the forms with barcode when u submitted last aug?

hello all new members of the forum,

congrats for ur AoR and 2ndly send additional documents via courier because some document need your signatures and imm008 have a space for pic so dont send by email.

hi alexa, are you under family stream? you mentioned that there was a change in nbi / police clearance procedure..just curious what is that changed?

I submitted via courier this morning, so hopefully they will receive it by Sunday.

for those who experienced additional requirement,
will it take another 4 months for the embassy to open my file again?

Hi bless2011,

Im on general stream. Regarding NBI clearance, effective July 2011, nbi clearances are already biometrics. The old clearances i had before was not possible to be renewed as they need the applicant to appear personally to have the fingerprints scanned in their new system. I had submitted my documents without my nbi to avoid missing the deadline and I am not yet due for vacation to process it. I am not sure if at the moment there is already a procedure in place for applicants abroad to apply or renew nbi clearance. I was able to get it during a short vacation last October. Just waiting for the embassy to advise me if still required. Only police clearance was submitted along with the other requirements.

Just to update ... I have received an email today that they have received my application at CIC . If they need additional documents, will it be mentioned in the said email as it is an automated message only or they would send another email for additional docs. Thank you and best regards.

Whats your opinion about sending them E-mail to ask them the reason.

I think it is best to send them an inquiry after a month of sending them all the necessary requirements they asked you recently.
Don't forget that in making an inquiry, you must follow their format so they can reply to you quickly.
