Question for senior members Please!...if ADVO is sending file transfer emails to applicants? because i read in other forums that NDVO and all other visa offices are sending file transfer notifications...is ADVO kind enough to send this email or they are just sending MR straight...

Sartaj33, I've always read that most cases if not all, ADVO doesn't send a notification email that they already have your file, unless you send a CSE. So the next email you'll receive from them will be the MR.

Hello znarfier thanks for reply.. Actually My wife's passport was going to expire in january 2017..so we renewd it prior to expiry..So i was thinking where should i send this updated passport copy..because i thinkn on mr they are mentioning passport number..

Feel free to send a CSE directly to ADVO since it's the nearest VO to you and inform them about your wife's renewed passport. With this, you'll be hitting two birds in one stone!

Hello MZI my AOR date is 25 feb 2016, and till now i too do not know which visa office they have alloted me, bur mostly cic is giving you the visa office where u r currently residing..and if you are in uae most probably ur visa office will be abu dhabi..

Finally! received the passports with Immigrant Visa along with CoPR document on March 10 evening. It took THREE Weeks to get the passports after submission to ADVO.

Hello MZI, today I have sent a CSE along with my wife's renewed passport copy as suggested by zanarfier...lets see now when they reply me back...finger crossed...

I got updates in my eCase today. 6 Lines are as follow:

1- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 2014.
2- We received your application for permanent residence on September 2014.
3- We started processing your application on May 2015.
4- We sent you correspondence on May 2015 (after six days being in process) about the decision on your application.
5- We sent you medical instructions on June 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
6- We sent you correspondence on July 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Line number 4 is surprising to me, I didn't got any correspondence related to this and to-date status on eCase is IN PROCESS. they send me medical instructions and police certificates + RPRF.

I have not proceeded for medical due to pregnancy of my wife but I respond to VO with explanation. VO acknowledged that clarification and responded with details, how to add the baby on PR application. I send the new baby documents by September 1, 2015 and waiting for medical instructions for new baby to proceed for medical.

I sent the Police Certificates and RPRF by September 2015. I accessed the eCase by use payment receipt number and its working, means added to my file.

If decision was made in May 2014 then why ecase is not reflecting as DECISION MADE and I am getting correspondence from VO? Even today I got one email regarding my request that I earlier made for extension for the provision of police certificates. VO office granted the extension as was requested.

Can some one comment regarding situation/scenario?

Finally your long CIC-VO journey has now come to an end!
