Submitted the Passport yesterday via VFS and received in ADVO. VFS told it may take 10-30 days for return of passports from ADVO.

So it is always through VFS? I thought we can send our passport directly to ADVO via courier? Is it not?

Can you share what was written in the PPR email?

any idea why it took so long for the ADVO to send you the Medical request after the AOR and File Transfer. Did u get the File transfer mail from ADVO. generally they don't send what I have noticed from the timelines of the forum members

Delay .... Its there internal procedure, they are not disclosing to public. I did not get any email regarding file transfer. They put all lines at the time when case was put to in-process.

Its a choice but as per letter from ADVO VFS is preferred method. we can send via courier along with return envelope. exact words;
" You must include a fully completed Aramex airway bill or a self-addressed C4 or C5 envelope. These must include your complete name, physical address (no PO Box), and phone number (country code + area code + phone number). If you do not write your address CLEARLY on your return airway bill, your passport(s) may be lost in transit.
Your passport(s) will be returned to you by Aramex courier at your expense."

After 4 months of receiving AOR, medical request received. Next is PPR. Thanks God.

Here's our timeline:

CIO: July 2, 2015
AOR: Sept. 8, 2015
Medical request: Jan. 27, 2016
Meds done: Feb. 9, 2016

I've read that you have done your medical on Feb. 4, can you please let me know if your ECAS now shows "medicals received" or something? Our ECAS did not change yet

Hoping for both of us to get PPR soon!

I received my medical request on January 27 same as yours, my ECAS shows line number 5 medical received. Hopefully next month PPR.
