Alhamdolillah, I got the passport request today from ADVO. This is exactly one month after my application status changed back to In Process from Application Received and two weeks after I completed my medical.

As I am in Toronto, can anyone please let me know to which office should I send the passports?

I think better to call CIO and they will guide you to best solution.

Any news from ADVO??

It has been three months since our medical results were received by ADVO. Until now, no sign of PPR.
I have sent a CSE to no avail.
Also, I've requested CAIPS.

Also tried calling but their phone directs callers to their website or asks them to send an email. Only if they ever replied!


I am quite worried now!

How can I do that?
I tried to search for a phone number on CIC website, but only found a number (1-888-242‑2100) for customers calling from within Canada. Could I call the same number or is there any other number for overseas customers like us?

you can call the Canadian visa office in USA and the call will transfer to CIC canada
i don't have the number and code now, i will send it to you ASAP.

When I used to log in, it used to say "we have received your application for PR on April 4, 2014"
This changed to "we have received your application for PR on June 11, 2014".
The date they started (in process) remains the same: Feb 12, 2015 and so is "we have received the medical results.

I am wondering why did they change the date of receiving my application?
Any ideas?

with me my old status was "we have received your application for PR on july 16, 2014"
now changed to "we have received your application for PR on october 20, 2014"

It's almost with everyone, Visa office updating the application received data as received in Visa office from CIO. It don't have any impact on visa processing like delay etc...
