Hi Everyone,

Update at my side is that I have submitted my documents and Passport yesterday using Aramex. Please pray that this step goes smooth.

I am just wondering if any one has recent experience of Visa stamping process timelines. In letter they have mentioned with in 10 working days. Does this mean that I may get my passports early than ten days?

Meanwhile I started looking for air tickets, any great suggestion will be appreciated ;)

Regards
Khurram

Hey Lemans,

Thanks man. When did you submit your PP to ADVO? I do not think they will allow you to get it yourself. What is your plan when you are flying to Canada?

By the way if we have Canada visa can we take a transit in London?

Regards
Khurram

I did my meds 30 days ago still waiting 4 ppr

you can get transit 48 hour no need for more London hotels too expensive

I called the embassy, she asked me to send her email my visa copy to Canada passport copy and uae residence and she will send by email
call british embassy not the visa center coz they don't know,

also check on webpage, its mentioned that if you have visa to usa or Canada you can get transit visa 48 hours at airport but to be sure call her you can grant it

friend submitted the passport by hand ;)

Hi kkhurram1,
i think you can transit via London because you have a canada visa. there are three types of transits through London:

1) if you just want to take a connecting flight without leaving airport/passing through UK passport control and your onwards flight is within 24 hrs, you normally apply for a direct airside transit visa. You are exempted from this visa due to canadian visa on your passport.
2) if you want to stop over in London by leaving the airport (max 24 hrs), you normally apply for a visitor in transit visa. You will be eligible for a 'transit without visa concession' because of the above.
3) if you want to stop over more than 24 hours, you will normally have to get a visit visa. i'm not sure if your canadian visa gives any exemptions from this.

check ukba website for actual info.

I hope you are correct. I am keeping my fingers crossed and wish good luck to others in the line namely zig321, rtamimi, aashamsi and especially maazeeliansp. I wish this wait ends soon for everyone.

Hi friends, I have good news to share.

I have got the PPR email where I have been instructed to:
1) submit my/family original passports
2) pay the RPRF fee for me/spouse total CAD$980
3) submit 3 PP size photographs for me/family
I have to submit these things within 30 days.
Thankfully, there is no instruction to submit fresh PCC which saves me a big hassle.
