Hi everyone, just a newbie here. i am Nov. 2013 CIO applicant, I received my AOR on 4 Dec. 2013. For sure my VO will be in Abu Dhabi as I am working here in the middle east. Just wish to seek your experiences on how long does it normally takes to receive MR from ADVO. Seen in some timelines 4-6 months or this vary to a case to case situation. Pls share with me your valuable experiences. Thanks!

Tis year's processing is much faster because it's online now. Mine was not sent via online, it took me 16 months.

hi.. i believe what Ms. Elena meant by online is that you have to goto CIC website and download all the forms from there.. and you will get a barcode coz you have to encode some of your details to their website. and you have to print those forms together with what additional documents they will require of you and you have to send those hard copies to Nova Scotia. (that's what we did..) it is much easier coz when they scan the barcodes they will have the electronic copy of the forms you filled up. when we send those hard copies april 2013 we received AOR June 2013.

The steps you have to follow are all in the website.. even the forms you need and need not fill up.. Just find time to read the instructions carefully and you will be ok just follow them and you will never go wrong....

I have been asked to submit passport and bank draft for right of PR fees in CAD. Do you know where i can get a bank draft in CAD done in Abu Dhabi?

I believe Al Fardan exchange used to do it but they stopped now.

Please request this information from those who have got a bank draft for Canadadone in the last few months in abu dhabi?

Thanks Elena. Were you on GS or FS? I applied thru GS. As far I have observed in this forum, seems like there is not much of a difference with FS and GS. It looks same in timeline though of course it varies from applicatn to another. I hope 2014 will be a more forwardly favor for our end and to the rest with the same boat as mine. Thanks.

Hi there is no timeline for abo dahbi office ??

Application now is online, you have to scan all your docs and send it online.
Please go through the website and read about it.
My friend from philippines arrived 2 das ago, 9 month processing as online.

Appreciate your replay but maybe there is small misunderstanding
I meant the cic stage not pnp stage
I already have loa , and planning to send my docs long with applications next month to cio
After ur replay i went to cic.gc.ca and read but as i thought there is no online apply section for immigration for provincial nominees
