As I remember. I paid 57 AED request through edirham and cash I think 120 AED it was printed in English, they ask you to which country then they mention embassy of Canada :S

Hi Lemans , we went in Dubai CID last Thursday and we will collect the Police certificates on July 22 i have with me
my employment certificate hopefully we will received soon.

How about your IELTS? I saw your timeline you did'nt submit ielts, right! During my online submission for assessment (MPNP-Family) I did'nt attach my ielts and luckly I got my LOA last month. my question now is do I have to apply for ielts to be incorporated with my documents before submit to CIO for visa approval / just leave like that, I mean no IELTS attachment. Do you think they will not return my application with regards with the IELTS ...thanks in advance, chris

Hi polay_ph.. You were right about the cost of securing UAE Police Clearance. It has doubled.. Regarding NBI Clearance, I suggest you wait for the instruction from ADVO if that is still required. In our case, that was not requested for. What we do all the time is to provide only what is required. We don't give extras. It might just complicate things. Cheers!

I am not really active in this site, i come and go as needed though and has proven the use of this forum in my application so far.

I'm glad that you guys are applying from the Abudhabi VO. My question is that, clearly you are both Filipinos, I hope I'm not mistaken, do we still have to secure NBI clearances from the Philippines or would the UAE Police clearance be sufficient for our PR applications?

Yes i am a Filipina, when we submitted our application package to Nova Scotia i included the NBI clearance for me
and for my husband it is written in the instruction that we have to submit police clearance for
the countries we have lived for more than 6 months and you shouldn't miss to submit your police clearance
of your country citizenship it may not be required now but it will be asked later on , since it will be 2 years
valid you can start the process of acquiring it now i heard that processing days will take sometime.

my timeline: AOR received from CIO 15th March 2013. I am AINP FSW. I dont know my visa office yet but I am a Dubai resident.

- does it matter what has been indicated on the application form where asked about the "visa office"? does it give a sort of preference or will it be absolutely the CIC discretion to decide every applicants visa office? do they decide on the basis of your residency address at all?

- how to find out your visa office. is there any way to write them? I know its tooooo early, but any point in writing to CIO? or can we write to VO?

- those who have received MR, would you be so kind pls to advise what is your eCAS NOW? has it been changed to "in process"?

Hi Chris, I would suggest leave it like that and once they start processing your case they will ask you for it and other documents if not complete. Sending this time might delay your processing.
