Dear All, just to give you some details on my time lines.

I received my MR documents on Monday and they were dated February 22nd, 2011. I have done the Medical test yesterday.

My application was considered on Sep 26, 2010 and the MR received on Feb 22nd, 2011. Total time 4 months and 26 days.

This morning while I were checking my application status online, I noticed that My address which was usually on the top of the page is not there anymore.
the status still showing (In Process), but the address not any more there.

Do any of you know what that may mean?

Along with your medical, did they ask you to pay (Right of premenant residence fee)?
Also did they ask you to submit any updated police certificate?

Nope, they did not request me to pay anything. All I paid was the fees for the medical test along with the courier charges.

I got a note that the medical has been sent today April 2nd, 2011.

I am aware of people who got their PPR in just 2 weeks. Praying for my PPR to come at the soonest.

I need your help on a different level. I am planning a visit to Canada on May. Now that I have received and done my meds, I would like to check if anyone of you has previously applied for a Canadian Tourist VISA while holding the immigration status and what was the outcome.

We submitted our application in Abu Dhabi Office, my husband being the principal applicant is working in the area while us (his dependent) is here in the Philippines. In case he receive our MRs, is it possible for my husband to do the medical together with us here in the Philippines?
He will just file a vacation in his work during our schedule.

Yes that would be permitted as long as you will take appointment to the DMDs (Designated Medical Doctors) stated in the guidelines theyl give to you...Actua;;y my fam had our medical here in Dubai and it was so smooth....compared sa Phils na masyadong mabusisi...Anyway good luck and stay healthy!

BTW, we just received our AOR last Saturday together with the supplementay form IMM-5549.
We hope to submit them before Holy Week. After namin masend yun IMM5549, when kaya ulit kme makakareceive ng correspondences sa ABU Dhabi office (meaning MR sana)?

Actually we receivd our MR after 6 months from AOR... which is quite fast when u base the timeline here in CIC abudhabi and from previous applicants. alot of factors CIC mentioned how soon our papers are processed, like the bulk of applications, how fast u submitted a complete file..and the good thing was they did not require more supporting documents when u applied outside of the country........that made a lot easier to comply with those requirements in the embassy. we're waiting for Issah's MR too.. hope to follow soon too. We already got the idea of iccluding the supplementary form with our submissions thats why no more additions asked... Don't forget to affix ur thumbmark in ur NBI. Goodluck

I guess were done with the documentation after the IMM5549 submission.
It's time to get fit and healthy while waiting for the MR AND savor the last few months we have here in our country. ;D
