Any September applicants still waiting? I am Sept 18th 2017, Medical passed 04/2018. Ghost update December 18th. Nothing ever since, not sure when this is going to end...

Sept 20th, mr in april 2018.

I had ghost update on Tuesday.
As i see here people get PPR after 10-15 days.
My problem is that my wp expires at the end of the March, so i have to apply for wp extention at least 28 Feb ( 30 days before ).
Question is : what should i do ?
- wait for ppr and dont apply for extention?
- call CIC about the stage ? Problem is that depending on the officer that answer you, they can give short answers and nothing certain.

Apply BOWP and extend you status, even you are very close to get your PPR you still need get extension to have you status legally to stay in Canada, you can call CIC first but they will give you the same answer... I been on that stage too, that's what they told me

It could take more than 3 months to get PPR after ghost update. Apply for BOWP accordingly.

I cant. Im pnp with restrictions on employement.
I can only ask for extension of my status as it is.

I also have closed work permit which I can only work with my current company,
but I can apply BOWP after it expires.
Do you have different type of work permit?
I am just wondering what kind of restrictions you have on your work permit.

CIC website says that some PNP cant apply for bowp.
Im pnp in SK with job offer ( lmia exempt )

My case was same. I sent an email to CIC thats shld i wait for my PPR or shld i apply for extension. They replied ur application seems to he fine so far. But to maintain ut valid status in Canada you must apply extension. So i did.
