I'm behind you for a few days (Sept 29). Also got a ghost and called, all done.

I just hope we get the DM before/by the next DM rain, which is on March. If they process the DMs backwards, from October 26th to September 8th, we may not make the cut...

I think the applications submitted in September, October and November are respectively handed over to the different locations for processing. The applications with any location that are done quicker than others would be transferred to the certain department for the Decision Made review at first and update the status on ecas afterwards. Each DM rain could be a deadline on which all the applications with background check finished have to be cleared from the system and labeled as DM and going forward for PPR.

I have the exact same date as yours. Sep,26 2017 app received. I called CIC the last week on Jan 31. They told me that my latest update is on Jan 22. I don't even know it's an ghost update. Cuz' the application email's linked to my representative.

On Jan 22, I called. They said I passed background alreday. I called them again on Jan 31 right after I heard a lot of ppl got their PPRs. They just told me that I passed everything and should wait for DM until 19 months as the official processing time is. Before finished that phone call, I was told there’s an update on Jan 22, 2019.

I didn't receive DM yet, Got ghost update on 19th December 2018. It still displays "In process'
