Hi,

The current status of my application is as below:

Review of Eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Med Passed : 21/11/2017

Can someone guide how much time it might take to get my PPR? Are they done with Documents scanning, Employment verification, Additional Documents scrutiny?

My prediction says that lots of PPRs will be issued around second week of January around 15th Jan. Till then it'll be bit slow as they will try to gather themselves, get back to work and strategize further. Number of PPRs may be issued for PNP candidates as there is a huge backlog and a good number are waiting in IP2 since quite a while. Thereafter, concentration will again shift towards FSW applicants.

Your analysis seems accurate. I honestly feel like if their goal is to reach that 300k amount, each stream will have to be expedited to clear off most if not all of the folks from 2016 and 2017. I hope IRCC's New Years Resolution was to "clear out the backlog and start clean with 2018 applicants".:D

Yes, as we can see that currently they are disposing of CEC files a lot quicker than ever before. Loads of CEC applicants have been issued PPRs in the past 15 days. This trend might continue for another week or so before they shift their focus on PNPs. FSW remains their favourite given the number of applicants. The current trend of clearing FSW applicants in 20-30 days will continue alongwith clearing of the backlog.

Although you have not mentioned your eAPR date and hoping that you belong to PNP stream and also that your file is with NDVO you might receive your PPR in almost 120-130 days. This might change dramatically depending upon other factors. If you can tell me the dates and your visa office then we can look into it.

Hi - could you plz exlain how a visa office relates to an express entry aplication? On cic website, it clearly states that EE applications are processed online. Only paper based pnp programs and quebec are assigned to visa offices...

Although EE applications are filled online they are assigned to various visa offices by the Central Ottawa office (CPCO - Central Processing Center Ottawa) throughout the world after initial scrutiny. This distribution depends on certain factors like the Nationality and Country of residence of the applicants.

Instantly shoot a mail to them and bring it to their notice.

Good morning everyone! Try to make this thread alive again, as we are not able to get any information on the status of candidates who have submitted during these months. It'll be helpful to all of us if we keep sharing our statuses and thoughts here. Hope we all get PPRs soon enough.
