CIC updates their processing times to 20 Months

Oct 20 inland applicant with dependent. Already 18 months that I’m waiting.

Not yet. Are you a single applicant or do you have dependents? Did you ever get an additional doc request, just trying to understand if that could be the reason for the delay in our application. I had an additional doc request back in April 2018, Schedule A and passport (old passport was expiring in a month).

I have dependents, and I got additional documents request in April 2018, my wife’s RCMP criminal record check.

when I opened the CIC profile it showed me that my profile is updated but when I checked inside it was the same nothing changed and afterward when I log back in again it showed the status changed back to submitted

they asked for new generic application form along with additional family and travel history form.

They also requested to upload schedule A and recent police report on Jan 1

Proccessing times 20 months.
And after u are in tge 20th month it may become 22.

Congrats! so it seems like they do finish the process before the medical results expires (case to case basis).

I'm very interested to hear when you get your PPR! I'm NOC 1222 Inland OINP (no dependent though) timeline is:

Nov 10 - application received
Nov 30 - they started working on my application
Apr 6 - Medical request
Apr 12 - medical complete
Since then nothing!
