Whoever applied PR though PNP in Sep 2015, let's get connect here...

I got my AINP on Aug 25 2015.
And i send my PR application to CIC yesterday, Sep 01 2015.

My agent told me have to wait 2 and half months to get AOR and file#.
after wait 6 months, will receive med's request.
after 9 months, will request send out passport and landing...

Not kind sure if this is true, any one have any idea? :P

Currently MR is not being issued even for Feb applicants. Not surw if its going to be compulsory 6 months wait after AOR to get MR which is a bit too much but let us hope that we get soon.

So is the 9 months time for ppr is from application date or AOR date?

Re: harirajmohan

Sorry for the confuse...

My agent told me after you applied PR for 2 and half months, you will receive file#.
after you applied 6 months, will receive med's request.
after you applied 9 months, will request send out passport and landing...

9 months are from application date. Everything depends on application date.
Not sure if that much fast or not......

I'll be honest, I think that timeline is ambitious. Unless CIC clears the backlog soon, it's probably going to take a few more months than that. Treat his timeline as an estimate only - I'd be surprised if 9 months turns out to be accurate. It's almost impossible to estimate CIC processing times this far out - so much can change in the mean time.

When I applied last December 2014, it took 5 months to get an AOR. But then I got a medical request 1 week later. Then no news for another 4 months until my file went In Process. At the same time, people in February 2015 only took 3 months for AOR. But then they had to wait longer for their medicals. And there are some people from September 2014 who still haven't gone In Process yet.

The timelines people list here give you a guide as to when something might start happening with your file. But it's all on a case-by-case basis, and any individual can have wildly different processing times.

Make sure not to get hung up on the "deadlines" for when things will happen. You'll only end up disappointed.

Re :Quink

I agree with you, i don't think it will fast like what my agent told me.
As long as more ppl start apply CIC after they got their AINP,i think cic may geting slower to process our cases.

Anyway , only one more year to go !

you still have long way to go ;) ;) ;)keep patient.i am nov 24,2014 applicant, still waiting for decision made, waiting is painful, but i get used to it already. i got my aor in the middle of april
by the way, my friend applied in jan, still waiting for the med request
good luck
