How do you know if your nomination is restricted or not? I'm applying under OINP Employer with Job offer:International student stream
There is a field on your nomination letter that determines if it is restricted or not.

So theres no way of knowing if it would be restricted or not?
What do you mean? If you have a copy of the nomination letter, you will know.

I haven't applied yet. Ive been working on my current job for 3 months now, my employer agreed to help me with the PR process but i dont like the job and I'm thinking of switching to another job thats why am asking if you can switch jobs after you get nominated. If it not possible to switch job, i would get more experience and apply under express entry

I would advise you to do everything possible to go through Express Entry.
It's much faster, and more flexible.

You can have two open applications at the same time. Why would not apply the paper-based process while getting more experience for the express entry?

You mean i should apply for the paper base while getting more experience for Express entry?
Yes. It is what I have done and am still waiting for one of them to get through :)

wow i didnt know thats possible. when did you apply for the paper base?
Last year in July. and I applied for EE this year in May.

Timeline please.
Fingers crossed for you!
Keep us updated.

I believe you are right, some officers do not update the checklist on GC Key, therefore the agents on the phone have no real idea of what stage the file is.
Hopefully we will both find out very soon!
