mine is aug application and its true that they have started giving ppr to aug applicant but unfortunately we cannot compare with others plus its all depend on officers too. I wish at least they could our on inland first rather then on out-lands which make more sense to me

The security checks of some people take less time compared to others. That is the reason why you saw those people getting their PR. All depends on your nationality, how many countries you have traveled, the complexity of your application, ...
The average processing time for 80% of people who already applied is less than 18 months. This means that around 20% should wait more than 18 months!!!

Guys! i think we shouldn't believe CIC agents as i called CIC 3 three time in 2 months and every time i receive different statement first he said My seucurity criminality and eligibility is in progress. Second time agent told me that security is in progress, criminality & eligibility not started yet. today i spoke and she told me Criminality is in progress Eligibility & security not started yet. when i ask about my ecas status change from in process to application received she said i didn't see any change in your account your application is in progress. My time is

I believe that means your application is all good and finished, and as with every application, needs to go through a final check by an officer to make sure there's no mistakes, and then PPR.
