My file is also received in aug...aor in october...medical passed....i think i will take time...we are in still in 12 month time.

I know some ppl who got their pr after 2 months of medical done but their medical also came after 11 months and some ppl who got 6 months after medical....i hoping pr at the end of this year. But as i checked some forums some june 10 people are getting their pr. We can assume we can get in august if process is this much fast. I think all its all about getting worried and wait.

I know that it will sound silly, but can someone explain what ghost update means?
I called CIC today to confirm my Medicals have passed. They said my background was complete, but Security Check hasn't started. Does anyone know more details about that? What is the difference between background and security checks?

You can check pnp pr paper based jan 2019 applicants forum...in that page today recently 18 june got ppr. You can also check other posts on that forum.
