Just checked ECAS - Decision Made!

Ok so I decided to call cic today.
Agent was really nice and helpful.

He said that everything is passed and security is the only thing left (conflicting information because last time I called the lady said it was passed already.)

He said that security is the last thing always.

Security not started but he said that it may have started already. His notes may not be up to date.

last time I called in June she said my security was done. eligibility done last week.
Do you know what is part of background check?
Criminality, Eligibility, Security, criminality. Anything else?

And medical is also parr of BC check as per ircc

Still have a lot of time to reach 19 months , but it might come early too , just don't worry about it too much .

Now the processing time is reduced to 18 months

Give them a call and ask if eligibility is done. Pre arrival letter usually means that your eligibility is approved.

Thank you for your advice but I’m now in my home country and cannot call them. I did receive pre-arrival letter on Jun 15 when medical passed on the same day. I wonder when I can get PPR. A little worried.
