Interesting! As far as I heard , the country which you are residing and which you are applying from may make a difference.
Any idea of such countries?

I think if you are applying from a country which doesnt have political problems and has a good reputation this might accelerate your file processing times. My lawyer had told me this but I couldn't find something official in this regard.Interesting!
Any idea of such countries?
My application was received to IRCC on July 17 but still no news so far so it will take longer due to COVID 19 for you tooThat means we are within the same time frame.
Do you have an idea about what we should be expecting the following:
Let me connected and cross our fingers on any information that will help each other.
- Receiving an acknowledgement letter/mail confirming receipt of the application with the related reference number
- Being invited for biometrics and fingerprint
- Are we going to be asked to provide a fresh police report?

My PNP-inland paper-based application received July 2nd. No AOR todate. After being advised on this Forum to call IRCC and ask for a temporary file number, I did so today and was given one. IRCC said they are not able to let me know when they will issue an AOR, but atleast they confirmed receipt of my application.
This is very interesting and could explain a lot.As far as I heard , the country which you are residing and which you are applying from may make a difference.
I would have ageed with this assertion if the applications were at security check or background investigation. Because I thought AoR was only for application completeness and documentation. This is very interesting and could explain a lot.
Because all the people I know with this kind of application are from my same country. At this point I have to suppose that my country is in the "fast line".

I think currently June AR applicants are able to get temporary file number. You have to wait i suppose till February 2021.Hi,
My PR application was delivered to IRCC on 10th August. Today I called them to get a temporary file number, but the agent said that my file is not received yet or its not in the system yet.
I am worried now as he said it might not have been received or worst case scenerio they might have returned my application due to any missing documents.
Did they tell the same thing to anyone else here?
Thanks
So there is nothing to worry about my application?I think currently June AR applicants are able to get temporary file number. You have to wait i suppose till February 2021.
Don't know about that. But yeah same time don't want to give you false hope too. Wait till you see August applicants start to get AOR. Hopefully in February 2021.So there is nothing to worry about my application?
Don’t need to worry. It’s normal. You can get temporary file number in February. They always say like that . There is nothing to worry about. So there is nothing to worry about my application?
