PR application submitted - April 24,2018
AOR - July 9, 2019
Medical Request received - April 23 2019.
Medicals submitted - April 29, 2019.

Please share with me if any of you know what would be the next step in this process.

June 19, 2018 AOR
April 15, 2019 additional docs
April 16 pre-arrival
April 17 medicals
April 18 md passed
May 3 ghost update


Next step for you may be ghost update(s). It means that an officer processes your security/criminal checks. Check your CIC more often. It should say “application updated” but your profile doesn’t change. And pre-arrival letter meaning that you passed eligibility. And golden email with DM and PPR should come shortly after. There’re people getting PPRs already so let’s hope for the best and keep fingers crossed )))

***Need to take 2 fresh PR passport photos to send along with the passport.***

Note: I heard that for some people they're inviting Interviews at Service Canada instead of requesting passports. But in my case they sent the passport request. I noticed that they made the process timeline little faster for my application. Hope they do the same for all other applicants too! Cheers!!

* 10 days (roughly) for receiving passport back from CIC along with landing documents.
* Once finish (LAND POOL/ Landing) 1- 2 months for receiving PR card to your home.
* No need of Work permit if you finish Land Pool (only applies if your WP is going expire soon within the date)
*Not sure >> The Application number that you see in your email for passport req is the COPR number - Starts with E********
* They will send COPR along with landing documents.

PR Application submitted on 23 May 2018
Application Received on 28 May 2018
Police Clearance Request 05 Feb 2019
Submitted on 25 Feb 2019
Medical Request on 08 March 2019
Medicals Submitted on 12 March 2019
Received email from CIC Calgary for scheduled Final Determination Interview in CIC office on 30 April 2019
Final Determination Interview (inland landing interview at CIC-Calgary) on 16 May 2019
Received Certificates of Permanent Residency on 16 May 2019 and were informed to receive our PR cards in two weeks
Got our new SIN numbers from the same building

Just waiting for the PR cards.

Hi Raj,

If you pass the medicals then it will show you under details of your application status in your CIC account.

Review of medical results : You passed the medical exam.

when I checked on this link "https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do", I got an update from CIC "Medical results have been received". I am not sure whether I passed the medicals or not. Usually, how long it will take once medical received to CIC?

Some said it will take a week+ to show on your account. If not keep checking.

After that you will receive an email for PPR.

I have a question regarding adding spouse to existing application.
I am going to get married soon and I would like to add my spouse in my application. Is it better to marry her now and add her to my file or is it better to marry her after i get my PR and apply later.
I am in confused situation now.
Please reply me if someone went through similar situation or know someone added their spouse while the application is being processed.
