Yup, same boat as you. I think someone with AOR May, 2020 got their COPR today, waiting about 8 months to get their COPR. While we are waiting about 20 months now.

I got an email from IRCC that they asked for my proof of employment, current address and asked me i am in Canana with my dependant

My timeline is
AR - May 2019
AOR - June, 2019
Medical R- Oct, 2019
Mp - Nov, 2019
ADR - June, 2020
- I just waited and waited
Why they asked me these questions now? My visa office is Etobiko
Is the meaning of DM? Just wondering!!

That's a sign for DM, please update us when you hear good news!

So I just heard the most ridiculous case, a friend's colleague who has AOR Dec 2020 just got their COPR today (literally only waiting 3 months for their paper-based PNP PR application) while most of us on here are waiting 19-20 months+. Why would they put AOR 2019 on hold? It really makes no sense at all. I've even called and asked IRCC and they always just say "everyone's application is different." It is really just so unfair. Seriously, why can't they finish AOR 2019 files first before they move on. First come first serve...

On same boat ... they are processing 2020 cases. We are from 2019 sept aor, received medical but no updates after that. Friends who applied before and after got their Pr cards. If we call them they say every file is different. What to do ? Wait is only option

I understand that that a lot of us on here are outland. But I am inland, and many of us are inland as well and our files are not being processed either, so it really doesn't make any sense.
Think about it logically.
They made HUGE backlog for some 2018 and a lot of 2019 BUT they need to show that they still process all files in average time.
SO to lower their average time and showing that they are working as they were instructed they need to keep the average processing time.
So why I'm saying logically ? they will focus on new cases quicker while old cases that there is not a lot and it will not affect much their average time as they process new cases.
Make sense ?
