I'm really starting to get nervous because my work permit (with restrictions) is going to run out on Jan 30th 2021 and I still haven't gotten a DM yet. Here is my time line so far (inland):

AR April 2019
AOR 28 April 2019
Upfront medical - June 2019
Medical request - Sept 2019
Medical pass - Sept 2019
PAL - Sept 2019
Medical Extension - Sept 2020
Update Document Request (Update IMM 5669 for details covering 2019 to Present) - Nov 2020

The request for updated IMM 5669 scared me but I guess it makes sense because its been so long since April 2019 and they probably want to have the most updated information. I'm also trying to look on the bright side because maybe it means a DM is close as why update the form now only for it to become outdated again in the months to come.

But I'm really starting to have panic attacks over how close its getting to my permit running out and everything I see online is you can't apply for extensions if you have a restriction on your permit (my restriction is working for my employer only)
My lawyer said : I need to provide more recent information ( your new address and when you mouvement in , taking a break in your work du COVID 19 , ext .....)

Hi there, sorry I don't know what the impact on your application will be. Hopefully after you submit the needed documents, they can continue processing? I just wanted to clarify that IRCC asked for your Curriculum Vitae? Are they asking you to prove your employment and education?
Yes CV/resume, not proofs. You can google this, it's not that unusual.

Same thought here. Even we did medicals on Oct 1st, still didn't pass. Ordered GCMS notes. Waiting for that. I have a dependent too. I read it takes long time for people whose file transferred to Etobicoke.
I guess the Etobicoke office is the worse IRCC office in Canada. Please post any update you have in the future...I will post too if anything happens, thanks.

Good day dear forum members,

First, my timeline:
AOL: July 8, 2019
PAL: not sure.
Medical Request: September 30, 2020
Medical passed: November 13, 2020
Progress: 86%

Today is the last day of my closed work permit I did for Nominee Certificate (1 year length). I have applied for Spouse Open Work permit to continue staying and working in Canada. I have letter confirming that I can continue work for 4 months.

Should I notify IRCC regarding my status as a Worker changes?

Thank you and have good luck with your DMs and ECASes!

Exactly. They seem have staffing problem and are very slow on processing applications. Is there anyway we could request to transfer our applications to any other offices?

No you don’t need Ielts for noc O,A and B but there is no risk if you provide one . Also it depends on the nomination too . It should mentioned in email your got from province when they nominated you.
