Do you know what document we need to apply for a closed work permit ? My work permit is going to expire on 30 Nov
This is what my employer did last year for me to get a closed work permit with them - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/partners-service-providers/employer-portal/user-guide.html - I was nominated by BC PNP so I had a work permit support letter and that indicated that I was LMIA-Exempt. Employer had the pay the compliance fee too.

I'm not sure what the situation is like nowadays but even for me at the time I was debating applying for a Bridging Open Work Permit - but just make sure you pass eligibility and have your AOR before you apply for the Bridging Permit.

This is just my situation but make sure it applies to you!

What document employer will give you to apply for a close work permit after paying the fee?

Hello everyone.
SINP - paper based applicant here with spouse
AR : July 2019
AOR & bio metrics: August 2019
PAL : Jan 2020 with additional doc. Requirements
Additional doc submitted Jan 2020
No update since then. Anyone here with the same.
Any guesses how long will it takes for MR and PPR. There are job losses due to Covid -19 and from the sources i have come to know that they are may be confirming with the provider if there are any changes with the employment.
Please Refer to this link : https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/updates/2020-covid-pnp-facilitative.html
