Hi guys,
I just speaked to an agent and he told me that security check was started on may 8 and still in progress.
How long does this security check take, do you have any ideas?
I am Nov 23, 2017 inland applicant with 2 dependents.
MR 08 May 2018
MP 02 June 2018.
Also he told me that they will extend medical, so don't needed to do it again.

we have the exact same timeline...it's just my medical passed on 26th may 2018...I got GU on 21 may 2019...I called CIC and they said that the update is for medical extension...officer requested to extend the medical.

Called cic yesterday agent told me that PPR email was sent on 30th April but I think on wrong email which they have on system. But cic agent put the request to send the PPR email again anyone knows how many days usually it takes to receive email.

Hi Guys, I got an email with title 'Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa' this morning at 6:51am. I was busy working at daytime, and only have time to share with you guys late night. I think this should be considered as PPR? By the way, I did not get any Ghost Update. The most recently update is my 'Pre-Arrival Letter' which is issued last summer. The following is my situation and timeline for reference.

2017.12.25 Received
2018.02.09 AOR
2018.05.22. Medical Request
2018.05.27 Medical Passed
2018.07.26 Pre-Arrival Letter
2019.05.23 PPR.

I did not hear from CIC for 10 months long and wish all of you the best.

Can anyone tell me that how long does it take cic to return passport ? PPR-13th May 2019 passport sent - 13th May 2019 passport delivered to Ottawa- 16th May 2019.. since then no clue

I call agent yesterday they said security check in processing? does anyone know about this part? I read some arttical said 2 parts in this sercusity check, one is collect data, the other is waiting for IRCC VO do final review? does anyone can confirm?
by the way, during the review , is this still have a chance get involve to SS?
How long will take Second step which is do final review?

My security check was second step, agent said has already finished security data entry upload. WHICH means waiting for IRCC VO do final review? I think so, can you confirm me?
By the way, in this stage, usually how long will take? last Friday collect data part finnished and updated , can you tell me what is sequence in this part of security. thanks a lot
