Can I get 1 across the border?

U cannot apply bowp at border according to cic bowp bulletin u can apply it 4 months before expiry of current permit.. check the link below

No! You cannot apply for bridge permit at the border, I tried at Niagara Falls before, the officer said you can apply for some types of study/work permit there, but bridge type is definitely not. You can apply online, at least one day before your old work permit expire.

Yes he is in Canada! Yes they asked him to show 20k to 25k in his bank account. I mean they asked for bank account statement with 20k to 25k balance in it. Thats crazy. And gave him 30 days!

No that was the initial one - but i just called up and the update via phone was that the medicals are now passed and they are working on the BGC now so fingers crossed.

Yes,Dec here. For me, nothing happen after medical passed. Called them last week, they said sercurity check not start yet, and still in background check. They still reviewing my police record which was requested submitted last year September. Still one to six months wait.
