I received the request on March 14. I heard it will delay for at lease half of year, or even 1 or 2 years.

I am wondering what we can do to speed it up..? I saw someone has the same situation (being asked for cv, master/phd study) and he applied for EE instead of waiting for PNP, and he got his PR card very soon via EE..
I was requested for CV etc in March too. Since that there is nothing updated.

Hi everyone,

I am Dec 23 2016 applicant, and still waiting for PPR. After I finished my ME, I got requested to submit my cv and materials about my master degree like details of publications, supervisor name, field of study....

Is anyone else receiving this request as well? Did you get your PPR or not yet?

And Congras for all of you who got PPR!

Cheers,

Dec 28th, 2016 PNP inland: they requested CV couple months back, medical done in Jan
No PPR yet.

My question is for Inland applicants:

As i see most of the inland applicants have gone through the process from PNP to PR. After receiving bridge open work permit, i want to go back home for a month. My employer will only give 15 days off. I wanted to take a break from it all and at least, spend a month with the family.

Will there be a problem if i quit my job and go back home for a month and come back to find another job?

I have been away from home for almost 4 years and feeling homesick.

I have friends applied for EE and they are in security check for a year! So not guaranteed you wont have a security check in EE

Hi All.
Received the much waited Golden Email last night.
Processing time 24 Months and 3 days.. thanks to CIC for forgetting to send Medical request for my wife.

I am an inland applicant with dependants, i am from Pakistan.

Applied for PR on June 3rd, 2016

BG went into process on Feb 27,
Then they extended my medical and emailed me that my medical is extended.

We had a lot of travel history but the biggest delay we had was for the medicals and it wasn't our fault.
But it's all good now.

Thanks Allah and wish all the applicants best

Does medical expiry delays the start of security check?

My Medical was expiring in June and i didn't contacted them regarding Medicals, but they extented my Medical and informed me.
You should call them, i have never ordered notes.

Does medical expiry delays the start of security check?

Yes for sure. They don't start security without valid medical.
Couple of years ago, my friend was in the same situation, his criminality was checked but security clearance not started pending medical extension.
