Actually mine is just 10 months with medical done and passed. I just want to ask about the progress

My time line in Ecas :

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 20, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 21, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on December 22, 2016.
4. We sent you correspondence on February 11, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
5. Medical results have been received.

I don't know what can be reason for my delays ?Last week when i called them, they told me security is not initiated yet.
Really worried and frustrated , its too much....can't bear more..
BGIP from feb 27, almost 3 months but security not started yet.

yes... just checked it and it changed to decision made... my cic profile no change... still processing your background check.

Apploed with. Spouse. Spouse was in India at that time. She did her medical on jan 25 2017 for her owp and she came to Canada on last week of may 2017.

Additional doc: pcc for spouse. My and spouse schedule A on sep last week 2017
Bg changed to NA in oct 2017

Medical request only for me on jan 8 2018
Medical done 13 jan 2018
Medical passed on 23 jan 2018
Medical status chanhed from passed to "you do not need medical exam" on feb 8 2018
Bgip 27 feb 20 still waiting for ppr.

No medical request for spouse. I think they will extend it. I have checked that medical extension is done after security is passed and this can cause delays.

Please let me know if medical extension delays the final decision?
