Cic is trying to reduce processing time for new applicants. That is why they initiated security check for all applicants at the same time. They are issuing ppr's to some applicnts every month and move to next month.

There is mass Background check started on Feb 27,2018. Most of this forum members BGCheck started on this day

I am Dec 19, 2016 Applicant. Same ME day with you. Still waiting... they are still reviewing my additional docs and background check, nothing change for 3months after ME passed.

I think if he received medicals. It means eligibility has passed. Very few 2016 applicants received pre arrival email.

Does anyone know how long does it usually take for COPR after passport delivered to CIC?

Anyone here did landing at a CIC office recently?

I only got the COPR & a letter that requests me to make an appointment to finalize my PR.
(is it normal if i didnt get any email with scheduled date to meet the officer? coz i heard some inland do..)
And what should i bring with me on the day of the interview? is POF, Employment letter needed?) what will they ask?
Any idea the wait time currently for Vancouver office? thanks

Check properly there should be location. Mine was 40 pages it was really hard to read each and everything. When I checked third fourth time I found location. Last location was ready for PS.
