Yeah Dec 28 applicant here, spoke to CIC and they said security done, criminality done just need to do background check. But they said they can't do anything as processing times are now 18 months.

Security and criminality itselelf is a bg check. What bg check they are talking about now? I think they are talking about final review by VO.

I got a letter from Cic about submit uptodate version police certificate for each country living for more than 6months. I have a question. Is this not about rcmp fingerprint but only about my home country and other countries? Or should I give them rcmp one as well. Thank you for your answer in advance.

Rcmp, home country and any other country where you lived for more than 6 months. Did you submit rcmp when you submitted your application
