There is no point in comparison as its evaluated case by case. There are folks from late Jan 17 - even Mar 17 who received PPR but that doesnt mean they did something different. Background check can take days/weeks or months in individual cases and thats what causes delay. So hang in there as all of us will get PPR soon. Also, FYI, I did upfront and several others who did if you ask them when they cleared their medicals, it wasnt until they were issued actual MRs so to my knowledge CIC doesnt assess results until your time has come. So its pointless.

i agree ! my friend is a December applicant, with no upfront medicals- still got ppr request on 27th Feb, it does depends on case to case, officer to officer.

I am November aplicant.
BGIP 27 February .I talked with agent today and he said that my begraund check in process now.And I have to wait probably till May or longer.
Who know, that is really take so much time or he just say general things?
Thanks
I am Sep applicant, I also talked with an agent right now! My BGIP was on Feb 20. He told me your security has been started from Feb 20 and no one knows how long security takes! It may take from a few days to months!!!!! :(

Yeah, it's back to submitted because when the application is updated and you look into it, the next time you log in it is no longer freshly updated. :)

Hi,

What is ecas ? and how to access it.

Thanks

Type in ECAS in Google, click on the first link and log in using you application number and other data. It is an online system for checking your application status (similar to My CIC account, less data, but more up to date).

do you know whether this is exclusively accessible for paper based applicants?

There are two "In Process" status in every applications for back ground check. What are IP1 and IP2 (BGIP)? why in some period of time it is NA?
How long approximately each stage will take?
