Yeah BGIP is just a maintaince glitch just like the medical request glitch year ago when every one got requests.

Sep 30 applicant got BGIP in the morning, but I got other updates too, so I would believe the BGIPs are legit, a little suspicious though, hundreds people got BGIP, not quite reasonable.

Medical status changed backwards to 'we did not receive your medical resutls', I called them and they told me to igore it.
Also additional documents are under review now.

I did in October, I called them, the agent told me it is alright. They do have the medical exam results.

October 14th, 2016 - BGIP Feb 27th, 2017 as well

I think they just put BGIP to everyone who has sent their medicals and got it passed so we would stop calling them and asking the progress of the BG.

I just called auto machine voice, they are processing on my background check.. wow!
