Today I called the cic number and got the automated status on my application. For some reason I'm not able to link my application to cic account. The automated system said that my eligibility is still in review. How long would it take to change to passed. Though my medical is already passed. I sent my application in Oct 2016.

Same as mine,
Just talked to CIC agent, and he told me that once the application is in order, you should expect decision within 16 months.
So, we should get our landing paper around June 2018? My Bridge Open Work Permit is going to expire on June 12, 2018. I don't want to renew it again lol but maybe I have to just in case.

It seems now it takes 18-21 months after they received the whole application package. So, you might need to renew your visa if you do not get ppr by end of May...but lets pray that something happens to accelerate all the process so we can get by first quarter of 2018!

I haven't heard anything about MR yet...I hope they ask me for this before Feb 18.

Hello Guys! I am a provincial nominee, inland applicant. Full application package received by the CIC Oct 31/2017.
AS FOR TODAY, STILL WAITING FOR MY MEDICAL AND Losing MY NERVE!
Anyway, I wanted to ask you guys for the medical. I decided to get an idea and got a hold of a clinic in order to find out what the Medical would look like, and according to them, I would have to take my medicals one day and after that, there is a second part that has to be done two weeks after the first medical. My question is: first, who the f*** do they think we are? we have to work just as any other person in Canada and it looks like according to them I would have to ask for two permissions to my boss in order to get this done? Second, is there any other way? is it possible to take the medical all at once? I live in Edmonton, Alberta, could it be that these exams depend on the clinic or the province?
Sorry if it feels like I am frustrated with this process, it might be because I really am, but really hoping for the best, hopefully, we get our MR before this year is done and as a Xmas gift, we get the whole process sped up.

It usually takes one day for couple of hours if you do not need to wait for your x-ray and blood test. so when you get the MR request, make an appointment with the physicians on the CIC website. They will help you to complete this test. Although it seems CIC do not work fast these days, you will eventually get the letter from them. with the hope, I am still waiting for it!! One day, it will be done! let's hang in there! lol

Thank you for the answer dude. Then I will call another clinic as it is ridiculous that we have to spend an extra 2 weeks for the medical exams as if it wasn't long enough for us to wait for the CIC answer.

Is anybody here from Alberta? I am asking because maybe it is a thing from Albertan's clinics? Or maybe a new procedure? I would like to hear the experience of somebody that has taken the medicals recently.
