I m from Oct too. Whats ur timeline? and any progress after the medical?

Been stuck at Background Check (BGIP) since Feb 2018. CIC said call us back in August if you don't receive any updates, so that we take action. I am not sure what that means! Seems they are still pushing people for longer waits. They just buy time by telling people to wait for a few more months.

No. It still just says submitted right now. But there seems to be a delay on when they update your account and when you get correspondence so I suppose that may change soon.

I got a letter in the mail for Medical Surveillance Undertaking, I need to contact the TB clinic which I did, but I have been on medical surveillance since I had TB, I see them every 6 months now, I am very confused, in myCIC it shows that the medical has been passed, I called the TB clinic and they said I have to wait 6-8 weeks for a letter with an appointment with them. Does this put a hold on the PR application? Why would my medical be passed if I have to go for the medical surveillance.

Nova Scotia.
I'm a Russian citizen.
The notes say the location is "PS-...(edited)", which I assume means it's in the Security check stage since January. Eligibility, medicals and criminality are 'passed'.
Yes, I contacted my MP's office and they sent a request to IRCC last week, but no response so far.
