It took around 3.5 months for me .

After receiving this "if you have not yet submitted" additional document request, i gathered my employment verification which states my start date, position details and salary, updated my schedule A and submitted them through online portal. I just realized that my request letter was in fact not from the intake office in Sydney but from Winnipeg IRCC ( I am MPNP). I guess my file is in Winnipeg! now the waiting and chasing game begins again.

Yes same is the case with me. It was from IRCC -Calgary.
Did you submit the form through Web form? or through myCIC portal ( i guess in this option you would need to make 1 pdf and then upload all together)

I did it through mycic portal. I wrote a explanation letter and scanned all the docs all together and uploaded as one file. After submission, it was still "your action is required" for the night, but then now it is "submitted" and additional document shows as "your additional documents are now uploaded"

Sure!
1) Explanation Letter saying that I have submitted all my documents and additional documents back in April 2017
2) Copy of the request letter (that was sent by the IRCC)
3) Updated Schedule A (because i have changed my job since the last Schedule A)
4) Verification of Employment from my current employer (which lists my first day, position description, salary)

I have combined them together as one pdf file and uploaded through myCIC account! Hope it helped!

They asked him two weeks ago his file was from November 2016. All the documents which are required for federal file. Which he already submitted from the day first of applying his federal. Each and everything.

Yes they asked him to do everything again.
