So both of my friends are from Pakistan who got their PPR in February and I am from Pakistan too.

Maybe too many travels like me, they are wondering why did you decide to settle in Canada if you have been in better places like UK, usa, Australia, etc (sarcasm)

Me too, have had Schengen, UK, Australian US visas multiple times, now being screwed by CBSA / CSIS / IRCC.

I have SCHENGEN, UK, AUSTRALIAN, US, Thailand, India, even Egypt visas, and went there multiple times, but my processing time is normal, I did not have any delay of these reason.

Oh OK, I have an open work permit but expiring in 3 months.
Hopefully will get the PPR before 3 months

Yeah, I do not think that that can cause a delay, I know a guy who applied in January 2017 and got PPR in March 2018 and has been to quite a few countries.

No one knows the reasons, sometime it feels like they do it deliberately just to waste people time and give them mental trauma lol

My open work permit expired already last March 7, 2018. I applied extension last January 24 2018, until now no update for the permit extension.
That is 90days running till 24th of April...for my work permit extention..I called CIC they said it is in process.

I got decision made on ecas on4/1218 up to now no PPR yet!call 1800 automated machine said my application is on background check,no email for PPR,I have my representative,so I don’t know and I can’t get a hold of him,I will call Cic agent regarding the wait for PPRy
