Nov 22 background in progress on feb 27. Call CIC this morning , background check is till processing .

My CIC account acting strange, got a medical request on feb 28, 2018, Just completed my medicals on friday March 09, 2018 now Medical status shows updated and we do not need medical exam we will send you a message if this change. What does that means?

Would appreciate each response.

I think the background process is real . Anyone have some idea when we can get PPR? My CIC showed updated last week, And then go back to submitted.

from 2 days to a month.
sometimes varies by visa office
I got mine in a week

HI, I am December 9, 2016 applicant- it shows BGIP in process, meds are passed-no news on ppr yet. below is my timeline. i am inland applicant +dependent spouse.

Pr applied- 9th dec 2016
Received by cic on 12th December
AOR received - 9th Feb 2017
Document (schedule A) request June 1 2017
Document requested submitted- June 3 2017 status shows- we are reviewing the the additional documents you provided.
Medicals request- 8th Jan 2018
Medicals taken on - 15th Jan + 17 Jan 2018
Medicals passed on 30th Jan 2018
Background check commenced- 27 Feb 2018
PPR awaited...

i have the same time line. but i added spouse in december 2017. i call cic number the automated answer tell checking eligibility , dont need document ,dont need fingerprint at this movement changes today at we don't need finger print we will send you if we need , we are review medical result, we processing backround check but this backround check is from 10 of feb

This is not strange, it means your medicals has been uploaded on the system and it takes few days to change your status from "updated to passed". so don't worry.

as you added a dependent not to long ago, it might take a little longer but you never know. my friend has already got ppr request, added his spouse in Oct. her wife is already here on open work permit and has also sent her passport. hopefully every thing will fall in its place.

my wife also got open work permit she applied in January.

This is not strange, it means your medicals has been uploaded on the system and it takes few days to change your status from "updated to passed". so don't worry.

But 'updated' was indicating your changes in Medical status, wasn't it?
