Congrats Go North! I just received an email from VFS that my processed passport has been dispatched from CVO and is ready for pick up. May I just ask if it shows that your visa was issued on your notification email? Or just like that as well?

No... I received the same generic notification.

On May 19, 2016, I received notification from VFS that my processed passport has been dispatched from CVO and is ready for pick up. However, May 10, 2016 was the actual PR issue date that is indicated in the PPs and the Certificate Of Permanent Residence (COPR).

May 12, 2016 (Thursday and not Tuesday) was the date I saw "Decision Made" or (DM) on my ECAS.
May 20, 2016, visa on hand (VOH). BTW, the COPR came with the PPs & visa.

... Notice the discrepancies with the dates? These show the delays in the process (it took 9 days just to notify me after visa was issued, how come? It's just notification ...). Also, the ECAS is not always updated on Tuesdays, as what CIC claim.

Thanks for the reponse Go North. My ECAS shows decision made on May 19 and it was on May 27 that I received the notification from VFS.

May I know the contents of your received package from VFS along with you passports?

Mine has the ff:
* VISA stamped PPs (4 pcs.)
* letter to "Dear Applicants"
* PPR letters with red stamp of CANADIAN EMBASSY MANILA
* confirmation of nomination with red stamp of CANADIAN EMBASSY MANILA
* appendix B (only 3 pcs, for my 3 dependents. They took 1 pic w/c is mine) with red stamp of CANADIAN EMBASSY MANILA
* Certificate of Permanent Residence - COPR (4 sets of 2 copies each)
* pictures (1 set enclosed in small white envelop which was what I originally first sent to CIC and 1 set of recent pictures (50 cm X 70 cm) w/c I recently sent with the PPR.
* police clearance
* NBI clearance

May I know if they included the photocopy of the passport, those that we sent with the PPR? My friend with the same timeline as mine said this was included with hers.

Hi to all!

My husband and I had had our medical done last Apr 29, 2016. Mine accdg to St Luke's was already forwarded to embassy last May 16. My husband had undergone sputum test (negative) and sputum culture. The result for this sputum culture will be this coming June 30 already, he was told that no re xray is needed since there is no significant changes comparing his past xrays with the latest one.

My question is, when they will update our status in ecas, after they bave received my husband's sputum result, eventhough mine, as the prinicipal applicant, is okay?

You dont need to mail them the fee reciept.
you just need to upload the pdf file in the Case Specific Enquiry form.
enter your details and submit it.
you willl recieve confirmation after 5 business days

February 18, 2016 - AOR received

June 18, 2016 - RPRF payment; included MR even though they're not requesting it yet

July 16, 2016 - Status updated : medical result received

now waiting for another update..

Does any body know what is the period you allow to land within, it is only before the visa expiration date or before the Medical report expiration date which is one year from the date was done

Its before Medical Expiration, but if the visa expires before the medical then of course before visa expiration.
