Try calling or emailing DHL (check your DHL receipt and reference #). They'll provide you the AWB# (Air Way Bill #) and the website of their Canadian courier partner. From there you'll be able to access and track your package.
DHL's partner is Loomis (from what they gave me thru email).

I already got my AOR on 7th of february
so now no need to contact DHL.worst experience with them .
I would suggest to never use DHL for CIC

I haven't got anything from CIC. It's from the XpressPost tracker.

This is paper application. I'd imagine it is sitting in the office until sb picks it up and review it. Only then I will get AOR and the file in their system.

Here's how I tracked my PR application package delivery to CIC:
I emailed my local courier (and referenced my receipt and tracking #). They provided me the AWB# (Air Way Bill #) and the website of its Canadian courier partner. From there I was able to access and track my PR application package.

My local courier is DHL and its Canadian partner is Loomis (from what they gave me thru email) and here are some of the information they replied to my inquiry.

Loomis Product : DE - Express Domestic 18:00
Received By : MIKE

Re: File Transfer before MR (Medical Request)

After AOR, file transfer from CIO to local VO (Visa Office) is next, then afterwards, the local VO shall issue the MR (Medical Request) - as far as I know?

... Has anyone here with AOR had confirmed his / her file transfer? ... If so, how did you know please?

In the other forum thread topics, they said the info re: File Transfer comes with the email for MR ...

On the other hand, I know of a PR applicant who, after more than a month of waiting for MR, decided to request for CSI (Case Specific Inquiry).
Apparently, he found out that his file was not yet transferred and that file transfer seemed to have been done only after his CSI.
Within 2 weeks after that, the said applicant received information from his local VO re: his file transfer.

You will receive the MR through e-mail. I haven't received my yet though. Hopefully I will get MR before end of the month.
I think it is 90 days. I waited for +-45 days and then I requested a Case Specific Inquiry. +- 2 weeks after the request I received an e-mail from my Local Visa Office, South Africa Pretoria responding and confirming that my file has been received in good order by them and that I will be notified once they start working on the file.

In lieu of this, my plan is to send a CSI if after about 3-4 weeks from the date of my AOR, I still haven't receive any information of my file transfer or of an MR.

I'm just new here. I'm already losing hope with my PR application. I sent it on November 10, 2015 thru DHL, and I haven't received any response or the AOR until now. I tried to track my package on the next 5 days from the time that I sent it, then I became too busy with my work and did not bother to check the status of my package again, thinking that it usually takes 2 months to get a response from CIC. When I recently checked the last update for the shipment, it shows (Nov 17, 2015- Customs status updated- Cincinnati Hub, OH, USA--Shipment will proceed to delivery). As per other applicants who also use DHL, the package is being transferred to a local courier, but in my case it's not showing the info that it was received by another courier. This application really means a lot for me. Can someone give me a piece of advise? I don't know what to do.

Hi Anne_,

Are you sending your PR application package from OH, USA? If not, then DHL may have sent your package in an unusual route (... have no idea why)...
Try calling DHL to get the AWB # (air way bill #) and the local Canadian courier partner they sent it to...
You shall be able to track your package from the local courier's website.
