For all provincial nominees who submitted their PR Applications (for Permanent Residence) to CIC - CIO on the month of November 2015, let's meet here:

> PR application to CIO : Nov. 8, 2015 (from outland or outside Canada)

Hopefully there will be some progress (even a little) for Nov 2015 PNP PR applicants.

I read from the other thread that they have some concerns of possible CIC delay in PR application processing primarily because of the mandate letter of PM Trudeau to the CIC minister.

Priorities are for refugees... (especially the Syrian refugees)

I am optimistic that CIC still cares about PNP applicants in 2015, even if their security offices are too busy checking too many applicant Syrian refugees. I wish they'll still find ways to manage checking our documents/applications before January 2016.

.... On a positive note, PM Trudeau also included in his instructions:

"Develop a plan to reduce application processing times for sponsorship, citizenship and other visas."

This certainly includes us PNP PR applicants.... "the glass is still half full...." my friends :

We just need to wait. Its a lengthy process and if you give it some time, good things will happen.

Plus, I think refugees are a priority because they are running for their lives, we are not. We are immigrating for various reasons but running for our lives ain't one of them. So, let them finish getting in 25k refugees by the end of the year and then (hopefully), they will process our applications quickly. .

Below was my last tracking of my CIC application sent thru courier DHL (from the Philippines). They said they forwarded to local courier of Sydney which is LOOMIS and they gave their website and tracking number to check my shipment.

Hi bssndt,

Reading thru the other threads in this forum (please check the posts of other applicants who sent their PR applications to CIC ahead of us), I noticed that it really takes some time before an applicant receives his/her LOA (1 to 2 months is already considered fast, I believe). I could be wrong though, and our other forum mates may correct me and also enlighten us.

Meantime, we can rest our laurels by tracking the delivery of our application document package (if sent thru courier) thru our courier's website following the instructions they gave us on how to check its status.

.... and of course pray and always stay positive....

Come to think of it, I wouldn't trade places with them. They deserve such humanitarian act from Canada.

Hi everyone,
I just submitted my application for the second time on November 20th 2015 . Regret for not submitting my original birth certificate in August. Otherwise, I wouldn't have had to apply for the second time in November . But it is all good. Hope Immigration Officers will be faster in the coming time.

I have a question from you. if i am planning to go to my sister marriage next month which is dec. 12,2015. If i get my ppr before dec. 12, can i leave canada and send them passport from my country? Please reply.....

This situation is quite unique,

Well, you need to have your passport with you when going back to your country from Canada am I right? If you submit your pp from your homeland, I beleive you'll need to stay in your homeland and wait for it's return (which could take a while). Otherwise, you can attend your sister's wedding, finish your visit and risk the delay of submission of your pp until your return to Canada. Just make sure you can submit w/in the stated deadline of PPR.

This is just my opinion... other forum mates can enlighten us...
