Nov 28 Applicant here. I too received the Passport request today. The online status still says 'In-Process' (since Oct 2015).

A good start to the new year!

Hod did you learn this if not by ECAS? email or letter to your home??? I am also IP and waiting for some good news!

What documents should I have in hand?

Waht time during the day is preferred? I am planning to drive there on a weekend day (Sat or Sun).

I got my PPR on 6th. However, my ECAS still shows IP.

@kelly - write to the e-mail address provided in the letter which you should contact if you are unable to provide the documents for any reason.

P.S. - Anyone have any ideas on how long CIC Ottawa takes to stamp and return passports?

Guys, just to update my status, I'm Nov 12 applicant, I got request for passport yesterday, finally.....

Hope you guys can get your PPR soon.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get your passport back normally?

Landing Pending. I am planning on going to Seattle for landing but CIC website says that there is no immigration counter there. does it matter

The website says « Once you receive your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR), you can make an appointment at a CIC office near where you live in Canada to be admitted to Canada as a permanent resident. »

Pearson airport does not count as a CIC office. There are two in Toronto though, so you have options.

The website says « Once you receive your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR), you can make an appointment at a CIC office near where you live in Canada to be admitted to Canada as a permanent resident. »

Pearson airport does not count as a CIC office. There are two in Toronto though, so you have options.

Can you please specify where are those offices?

I heard that the regular CIC offices give appointment for next 6-8 weeks. But the problem is that I have to be US at Feb. 22, for my new contract. So, everything regarding to the landing process should be done before that,...

Any help is really appreciated.

There were many updates for many other files on Saturday, saw many posts in the last few months. Yes.... And many DMs for FSW Ottawa today.

I dont think nowadays it takes much time for PPR as per many cases happened in the last few days.
