I dont know if I am wrong or if you guys are wrong. The email that a lot of people got today is a bit confusing but it clearly says that if your passport is expiring within 6 months then you have to renew it and then send a copy to cic. About pcc if you have not already done then send them the original pcc. For schedule A it says if you have left gaps and they do not cover the entire period then send them the new schedule A form. This what I understood from the email. Again I am saying I could be wrong so dont jump onto conclusions and write negative comments. Thanks
I agree with you Puneet

It clearly says to ignore the message if you already submitted all. so I find it pointless to submit any cover letter as well. But I would call CIC and double check with them as well.

Hi all,
I am August applicant and waiting for PPR these days. Here is my opinion if anyone interested.

RPRF - you have to pay it and there is no big deal about the topic.
PCC - me and my wife submitted police clearance letter (no conviction, etc) from home country translated by official translator in BC. CIC asked Canadian PCC for my wife only and we did it, it is RCMP Certified police criminal record check + fingerprints - it is submitted.
Schedule A - they asked us to update Schedule A because there is a GAP since our application is submitted to BC PNP program, so since Nov 2014. There is only one year to update, so no big deal.

CIC put applications in process after full 9 months. I still do not understand why do they need so long time delay.
Thanks for sharing! Helps we understand alot better :)

I think the RCMP Certified police criminal record check + fingerprints is sent directly to the CIC right?

From the REMINDER letter,

I am sending out RCMP Certified police criminal record check + fingerprints is sent directly to the CIC

and

RPRF, after I pay next week, I will send the email and also mail the receipt( Do i need to provide any cover letter with it?) Also, I would be travelling to my home country, So in case I pay it while I am there back home using my Canadian Bank Credit Card, will it be any problem? anyone at similar situation?

That would be great!

Infact, we will be able to cross check the provided information and finalize what to do

QUESTION: WHEN THEY SEND A E-MAIL TO YOU FOR PAYING RPRF , THEY REQUIRE PCC AGAIN?

I SAW THAT WHEN

So I think I have a clue what is going on. I receive RPRF request last week, but the email came from Ottawa-CPC, which means it has been transfered from Sydney (centralized intake). I see that R1982 syas received email from Sidney (not Ottawa), so I guess it means it hasn't been transfered, and it might makes sense that is because they are trying to clear the application package before they send it to Ottawa.

Could the rest of people who receive the "strange" email share if the sender is Sydney as well???

Hi All,

I too got the same reminder email 'reminding' about PCC, Medicals, RPRF, Passport, schedule A.

I sent out my PCC last week (before getting this email) and in cover letter I didnt mention UCI but I mentioned Name, Date of Birth, Application number. DO you guys think I should send an explaination letter or reapply for a PCC since they want an origibal only? Im inland applicant. Document submitted to CIO on 30 Nov

Sydney Centralized Intake. But I just spoke with CIC call centre agent he said there is no email send to me on my account. He was very nice and he did pull up my file . He advice me that they never send any additional documents request to me as my file is complete. So I am going to send email to CIC just to let them know
