hey guys,
I just got my AOR (starting with XEP********). I am PNP applicant and CIC Sydney has received my application on first week of Jan.2015.
I have two questions:
1- I also applied for work permit but its been declined (stating that the nomination letter was expired when i applied) bcz i applied for work permit on first week of Feb. 2014 and my nomination was valid until first week of Jan. 2015. SO, i called and they said i ll b receiving a letter following the steps i need to take. on phone the agent said: Provide either AOR or get another nomination letter? I got my AOR later today but when i called they said, the application decision is closed and that i ll be receiving letter by mail soon. NOW? What will happen? If it says "stop working" then i ll stop working? or will it say to submit AOR with this or make NEW application (including restoration fee?) In this kind of scenario, what will i be doing? Will it affect my PR application (if i stop working)? Do i need to ask for the extension of my nomination letter from my province? or What will be it like? PLEASE, i am so much

is file no. really starts with XEP??? coz when i phoned cic they said thats really my file no. and it has X coz its under inventory or list in cic. but once they email it they will remove the X and its just EP... when i got my aor it is just really.. EP00000000.. i donnu if that matters.

SO, XEP is file#...ohkay
But i have been sent email with XEP******* and they wrote, its also your acknowledgement of receipt...
I dont know if i can check my status with this number( so when did you get your AOR? and after this next step is medical, right?
Also, i have my wife my application as well with my application, i dont know if they are sending file # to her as well or i m the principal applicant, and that is enough...so how should i check my application status online with this XEP...it gives me no results...

I am happy to share I received my AOR this morning (Apr 16th), I am Ontario PNP (Master stream in case someone is interested, no QA call), inland, and my application reached CIC on November 12th
