there is no ecas update..it shows only application received..
CIO email is

"Please be advised your medicals have been attached to your file. Your file is currently in the queue awaiting review by an agent. You will be contacted further in due course.".

it took about one and half months now after i sent email now..

i assume they just added it to the file..the officer may later decide if I have to repeat medicals or not...no idea..call centre agents doesnot know anything about it..

Hi All,

I submitted my application on 30th April through SINP category , I got my AOR in mid july , this is already September, still i haven't got any message from CIC yet? when i track my application online, it still shows 'application received' status.
when will i get my medical request ? why it is taking that long, i am worried now?
Please let me know what could be the reason?

Are you inland or outland applicant?


FYI: Most of the Inland applicants from Feb are receiving medical requests these days. So, hopefully you will get one soon too since you applied in April.

Hey Got EP back on July 24th - we done upfront medicals and sent them along with our app

Did you get request for rcmp from cic? Was it sydney or ottawa?

Yes we did get a request from CIC via email for RCMP check with fingerprints. Its sydney.
