I have a new question guys!

When my family and I did our medicals check upfront the doctor should open our profile at cic medical system. She had to add our information and fill in a question about what was our immigration program or something. Only appears three categories: family, worker, study, no more. No permanent residence, no PNP..nothing. She decided to fill in our profile as workers and family in my daughter's case.

Do you if this is ok??

I think it's alright.
Another option is, If it's not that expensive why don't you do your medical again with proper form and IME number.

Oh no.... Paris is not that far from Nova Scotia. I'm wondering what would they do to my file. They probably have to close down both CIO and Ottowa to carry my application to Manila :-[

Hi All,

I submitted my application on 30th April through SINP category , I got my AOR in mid july , this is already September, still i haven't got any message from CIC yet? when i track my application online, it still shows 'application received' status.
when will i get my medical request ? why it is taking that long, i am worried now?
Please let me know what could be the reason?

You don't need to do medicals upfront, just been medicals done. Because that form has to be filled in all cases.

They will cost the same, so no, we can't do them again. We just need to know everything it's ok with them. Maybe we will call cic tomorrow.

And about the category, I think it will ok, but It would be good if somebody could tell soemthing else.

how do we know our visa office? ottawa or sydney??? i got an email from sydney office that they added my medical result to my file..i sent email to both offices with my medical result done for work permit done in april..i m not sure if they will ask for another one

Does it also show on your ECAS that medical results have been received?

What did CIO say in that email besides they added medical to your file?

How long does it take after you told them you have already done medicals for work permit in April?

there is no ecas update..it shows only application received..
CIO email is

"Please be advised your medicals have been attached to your file. Your file is currently in the queue awaiting review by an agent. You will be contacted further in due course.".

it took about one and half months now after i sent email now..

i assume they just added it to the file..the officer may later decide if I have to repeat medicals or not...no idea..call centre agents doesnot know anything about it..
